We are excited for Field Day 2024 on Monday, June 10th!
Here is some important info to help the day run smoothly. Please read carefully:
General Information:
Attire: Students should wear their gym uniform to school. They will receive a 2024 Field Day t-shirt in homeroom on Monday morning.
Breakfast and Snack: Ensure your child eats a hearty breakfast before school and brings a brown bag snack.
Sun Protection: Please apply sunscreen at home and send your child with a labeled hat for sun protection.
Water Bottle: Students need to bring a labeled re-fillable water bottle to school, which will be brought to the field.
Schedule:
PreSchool Field Day: 9:00-9:30am in the Early Childhood School Playground Area.
Pre-K Field Day: 9:45-10:15am in the Early Childhood School Playground Area.
Grades K-5 Field Day: Starts promptly at 9:30am and runs until 11:30am at Greene’s Field.
Health and Hydration:
There will be a Health Office Station and a Water Bottle Refill Station at the field.
Lunch:
All students will be provided with a BBQ lunch, which includes a hamburger, a bag of chips, and a popsicle. Ketchup will be available, but cheese will not.
If your child does not want a hamburger, please pack a brown bag lunch.
Volunteer Information:
PreSchool and Pre-K Volunteers: Please check-in at the Early Childhood School office at 8:45am.
Kindergarten to Grade 5 Volunteers: Field Day will take place at Greene’s Field. Volunteers should first check-in at the Main Office at 90 Pickering St. and then go to Greene’s Field by 8:50am and plan to help with the festivities until 11:30am.
Lunch Volunteers: Volunteers should report to the Main Office at 90 Pickering St. to help grill, organize, and serve lunches and popsicles.
Special Events:
The Annual Bucket Brigade will be held in the School Parking Lot at 1:15pm, weather permitting. Students will line up at 1:00pm.
