Bob Vermillion, CPP, Fellow, is an iNARTE® Certified Product Safety & iNARTE® ESD Engineer with proven SME in mitigation of triboelectrification for harsh environments, troubleshooting of robotics and engineered materials for Space & Defense, energy, semiconductor and medical device sectors.

A proven SME, Vermillion is credited as the 1st to present and publish on Suspect Counterfeit ESD Materials and Packaging in the Space & Defense Supply Chain for the 2010 NASA QLF.

Inducted into the DoD Military Packaging Hall of Fame in 2019, Vermillion is an active participant of NASA ESD InterAgency Working Group since 2014, named ESD Technical Authority in 2018.

Located in a secure location onsite at NASA Ames Research Park, RMV is an internationally recognized and accredited ESD Materials Test laboratory. A valued resource for NASA, Academia and the DoD, RMV qualifies materials and products in low RH to simulate the challenging demands for ESD compliance in harsh environments on air, land and sea™ for our nation and for the Warfighter.

The design, development and training of the iNARTE® Certified AeroSpace & Defense Engineer™ and iNARTE® Certified Space & Defense ESD Program Monitor™ training program is conducted by the RMV leadership team.

Since 2018, RMV, in partnership with Exemplar Global, an independent, international 3rd party certification body and member of the American Society of Quality (ASQ) family of companies, provides the iNARTE® certification upon passing each iNARTE® Space & Defense course by the RMV training directorate.
