Compliant Conversations about Employee Wellness

Did you know that casual or well-meaning conversations about employees’ wellness could potentially cross compliance boundaries? This roundtable session will explore the legal landmines surrounding conversations about well-being and what the outer boundaries of those conversations should be. Together, we will develop a toolkit of conversation starters and responses to help stay within the boundaries while supporting our team members.

About our Speaker: Rebecca Jacobs, Esq., SHRM-SCP

Rebecca’s expertise is in the legal field, both in the courtroom and the classroom. She was a defense litigator for 13 years and an adjunct lecturer at a major university for 16 years. She brings her knowledge of employment laws to help members understand HR compliance and her legal expertise to support MRA. Rebecca Directed the development of the Institute of Human Resource Mastery curriculum, a course offering three tracks of instruction geared to the career needs of the participant
