Boys ADK Power- Summer 2024

Dear Parents,

Albany Power is happy to announce tryouts for the ADK Power 2024 Summer Program. The 2024 ADK Power program is based out of Saratoga HS Turf for practices, and the program will operate under a hybrid club model... promoting full year programs for competitive athletes that maintains respect for the sanctity of scholastic sports. Tryouts this year will be on the turf field at Skidmore College.

We believe that this model will provide the right amount of practice, competition, and rest to allow players and programs in Section II to grow while also maintaining strong relationships with school sports, promoting life-long friendships and player skill that can be showcased at the highest level of high school and college lacrosse.

After a successful second year with ADK Power, we are excited to continue to grow and offer opportunities for players in our Capital District.

2024-2032- Sunday, September 10th and Sunday, September 17th

2031-2032: 8:00AM-9:30AM

2029-2030: 8:00AM-9:30AM

2027-2028: 9:30PM-11:00AM

Location: Saratoga High School Turf Field, 1 Blue Streak Boulevard, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

(Please park by the tennis courts and walk back to the turf field located behind the school)

*We encourage players to attend both tryouts, providing our coaching staff of NYS Certified teachers and coaches, along with former standout players from all across college lacrosse, the best opportunity to evaluate your child.

In the event that you cannot attend either tryout, please use this link to let us know that you will not be in attendance.

*Tryout cost is $40 for 2025-2032, payable by check or cash on 8/27. We cannot prorate the tryout fee for players attending only a single practice.

The cost of the summer program will be tiered for players.

Summer Practice Location:

Turf Field at Saratoga High School

Fall Season:

Fall Sessions this year will be open only to players rostered on Albany and ADK Power Summer 2023 Teams and 2023 graduating seniors.

Fall 2022- Sunday evening practices at Saratoga High School throughout September and October. The program cost is $150.

These sessions have been specifically scheduled to avoid scholastic sports. Players will participate in a combination of practice and training model experiences that will optimize player skill through repetition and specific skills training. We do not usually travel to tournaments with our boys programs in the fall out of respect for the high school programs.
