Over the next couple of weeks, we will present an overview of the 2024 updates made to the AVADE® WPV curriculums. Below is a summary of the AVADE® Level I (Education, Prevention, and Mitigation) curriculum updates.

AVADE® Level I: Education, Prevention, and Mitigation:

We are pleased to announce that our AVADE® Level I PowerPoints (PPT’s) have been updated to reflect the latest changes and advancements in our curriculum and training materials.

Instructor Manual

We are excited to inform you that our AVADE® Healthcare/Corporate Instructor Manual has been updated. This update incorporates the latest enhancements and refinements to our curriculum, ensuring that our instructors have the most comprehensive and effective resources available for their training sessions.

Student Guides

We're thrilled to announce that our AVADE® Basic and Advanced Student Guides for both healthcare and corporate sectors have undergone significant updates. These revisions reflect the latest developments in our curriculum, providing students with the most up-to-date and comprehensive training materials available.

Interior Layout

We're pleased to share that we've updated the interior layout for both the AVADE® student guides and instructor manual. These enhancements offer a more user-friendly and visually engaging experience, making it easier for both students and instructors to navigate through the content effectively.

Learner Objectives

We’ve updated our learner objectives for all three levels of AVADE® WPV with clear, specific, measurable goals that outline what learners are expected to achieve or demonstrate by the end of a learning experience.

Violence Statistics

Our ongoing research and updated statistics offer quantitative insights into the prevalence, trends, and patterns of crime and violence, specifically focusing on its impact within the workplace.

Rule #8 for Surviving an Active Shooter

We're proud to introduce Rule #8, 'Stop the Bleed,' as the latest addition to the AVADE curriculum for surviving an active shooter. This critical addition enhances our comprehensive approach to preparedness and response, equipping individuals with life-saving skills to address traumatic injuries and improve survival outcomes in emergency situations.

These updates represent a significant step forward in strengthening theAVADE® curriculum and training materials. From enhanced PowerPoints and updated instructor manuals to revamped student guides and interior layouts, we're committed to providing the most comprehensive and effective resources available.
