Call for Nominations

Nominate an eligible colleague, or yourself, 

to serve on the NTCA Board or Section Leadership

Dear NTCA Membership,

The Call for Nominations for the 2024-2025 leadership is now open. Nominations will be accepted through May 31, 2024. 

NTCA is accepting nominations for open positions on the NTCA Board. In addition, each of the three sections within NTCA (NTNC, NSTC, and SETC) has open positions for which nominations are now being accepted. 

Please consider nominating a colleague you believe has the skills to lead and the passion for TB and NTCA to be an effective leader for our organization. Self-nominations are also encouraged.

Elected individuals will start their terms of service in July 2024.

NTCA BOARD LEADERSHIP NOMINATIONS

We are opening nominations for the following NTCA Board positions. The president-elect position has a 3-year term: one year as president-elect, one year as president, and one year as immediate past president concluding in June 202. All other positions have 2‐year terms concluding in June 2026.

·       President-elect 

·       Treasurer

·       High burden representative 

·       Medium burden representative 

·       Low burden representative 

Eligibility to Serve

Persons who meet the following criteria are eligible to serve on the NTCA Board:



• Serves as a TB Controller/Program Manager or designated TB Controller/Program Manager for a jurisdiction that directly receives cooperative agreement funds from the CDC
• Holds a current 2024 NTCA membership

A list of eligible TB controllers/program managers and the burden level they represent is available here. Please consult this list as you consider nominating one of your colleagues for these important roles and contributions to our organization.

SECTION LEADERSHIP NOMINATIONS

Nominations are open for the following section leadership positions. President-elect positions have 3-year terms: one year as president-elect, one year as president, and one year as immediate past president, concluding in June 2027. All other positions have 2‐year terms concluding in June 2026.

National TB Nurse Coalition (NTNC) Leadership

• President-elect
• High burden representative

National Society of TB Clinicians (NSTC) Leadership

• President-elect
• Secretary

Society for Epidemiology in TB Control (SETC) Leadership  

• President-elect
• Secretary
• Low burden representative

Eligibility to Serve

Persons who meet the following criteria are eligible to serve as leadership for our three Sections:

• Is not serving as a current TB program manager/controller of a CoAg program
• Holds a current 2024 NTCA membership

The 2024-2025 NTCA Nominations Committee includes Heidi Behm, Lana Dov, Jenni Wheeler, Connie Haley, Diana Fortune, and Donna Wegener. Each is available for discussing nominations or position responsibilities.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING NOMINATIONS

Please submit your nominations by close of business on Friday, May 31, 2024.
