2024-2025 District Calendar

The Willard Public Schools Board of Education voted to approve the 2024-2025 calendar. With the approved calendar, AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) Days have been discontinued. Snow days will not impact our schedule until we exceed 9 days of missed school. If we reach the 10th snow day, it will be necessary to make up a day. Willard Public Schools Board of Education Candidate Forum Hosted by the Willard Professional Teacher Organizations

In conjunction with MSTA and NEA, our Willard CTA will be hosting a Board Of Education Forum ahead of the board elections in April. You can find a list of candidates below:

The Board Forum will take place on Friday, March 29th at 6:00 p.m. in the WHS Theater. The Board of Education Election date is April 2, 2024.

Community Curriculum Night

WHS Blood Drive

Willard High School Educators Rising and the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will be holding our Spring Blood Drive on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the High School Aux Gym.

WHS Art Exhibition

WHS students will have their art displayed at the MSU Brick City Gallery, located at 215 W Mill Street, Springfield, MO from February 2 to February 25, 2024. The exhibition is open and free to the public Monday - Friday from 11:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The exhibit will be open for the First Friday Artwalk today, February 2, 2024 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Discover Engineering Day

Every year in February the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE) and Missouri State University’s Cooperative Engineering Program hosts “Discover Engineering Day” targeted to elementary-aged students and people elementary-aged at heart. The event has many different activities and demonstrations that show different aspects of engineering.


The event is free to all and no RSVP is required. The event will take place Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Plaster Center for Free Enterprise, downtown Springfield.
