We are excited to announce that we are continuing to grow and evolve our MMS customer cyber security strategies. We are proud to announce that our Next Gen Firewall offering has been successfully rolled out. In addition, we have completed a significant Next Gen Antivirus (EDR) Platform upgrade, providing our customers with even more protection against cyber-attacks.


We are beginning to have conversations with our clients about implementing our Breach Prevention Platform (BPP), which includes weekly micro training emails and simulated phishing email capabilities. All of this rolls into a calculated Employee Security Score, which will help our clients identify which employees could benefit from additional training.


We are committed to providing our customers with the best possible protection against cyber threats, and we will continue to evolve and improve our strategies to meet the changing needs of the cyber security landscape.

External Vulnerability Scanning

In today's digital landscape, cybersecurity is a critical concern. External vulnerability scanning is a proactive approach to identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential weaknesses in an organization's external-facing infrastructure. It's like conducting a security health checkup, looking for weak spots that hackers might exploit.

 

The scanning process involves preparation, scanning, analysis, and mitigation. However, there are challenges, including false positives, limited visibility, and the need for regular scans. Despite these challenges, external vulnerability scanning is a useful tool in protecting against cyber threats.

 

As an addition to our MMS program, we will be adding regular scans to help protect our clients. External vulnerability scanning will be a new foundational pillar in our growing and evolving cybersecurity strategy.

We’ve begun to incorporate Azure Speech Services to produce polished and professional voice-overs and greetings within the 3CX VoIP Phone System. Through Azure’s Text-to-Speech technology, we’re able to convert your written prompts into sophisticated and lifelike speech, infusing a refined and welcoming tone into client interactions within our customers' phone system platforms.

Q: What is your job title and how long have you been with the company?

A: I am a Service Desk Technician and have been with the company since May of 2019.


Q: What is it like working at Glassen?

A: Working at Glassen is a team effort. Projects and tasks are designated but assistance is always there if you need help. It is a good environment to learn in.


Q: What do you like about the company culture?

A: I like that the company culture is business yet casual. We get the job done proficiently while still having a good time doing it.


Q: What is your favorite part of the job?

A: I enjoy learning new applications and speaking to customers.


Q: What is unique about working at Glassen?

A: We can occasionally go on unique outings because we are small group like trap shooting and boating activities.


Q: How would you summarize your job?

A: As a Service Desk Technician my essential duties include maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. During this process we document, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software systems.


Q: What is something about you that not many people know?

A: I studied architecture and studied abroad for three months in Paris.


Q: What is your favorite hobby?

A: Occasionally in my spare time, I like to make stained glass pieces.


Q: Are you currently binge-watching any shows?

A: I enjoy watching YouTube.


Q: One thing you couldn't live without?

A: Clearly Canadian Sparkling Water.

A: My favorite color is green!
