From the event supervisors and coaches to the students, volunteers, staff, and parents—your contributions were invaluable.

We are delighted to announce that our winners earned the opportunity to represent New Mexico at the National Competition in Wichita, KS, that took place in May. Congratulations to Cottonwood Valley Charter School for clinching the B Division title and Albuquerque Academy for securing victory in the C Division. We have great confidence in their abilities to excel on the national stage.

Looking ahead to the 2024 Science Olympiad Season, we anticipate another year filled with excitement and extraordinary achievements. The Nationals will be hosted in Lansing, Michigan, providing a platform for teams from across the country to showcase their scientific prowess.

We are delighted to share the wonderful news regarding the success of our recent pilot program for the Middle School Expo.

Thanks to your dedicated efforts and collective support, we were able to bring together an impressive total of 9 schools and 208 enthusiastic students on our campus over the course of two dates in March.

The pilot program proved to be a resounding success, as we engaged the students in a wide array of stimulating STEM activities throughout the day. By fostering their curiosity and igniting their passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, we aimed to equip them with the necessary tools to embrace the endless possibilities that lie ahead.

Building on this remarkable achievement, we are excited to inform you that we are currently in the process of planning our Middle School Expos for the Fall. It is our earnest desire to continue providing this invaluable opportunity to middle school students, nurturing their interests and empowering them to explore the vast realms of knowledge and innovation.

We are thrilled to share the exciting news about the expansion of the Robot Outreach program for the 2023-24 academic year. Our mission has always been to promote interest in STEM education and skills development through challenging and thrilling projects and competitions, and we are committed to taking it to new heights.

In response to the overwhelming positive feedback we have received from teachers and students alike, we have decided to introduce multiple missions for teachers to choose from. This expansion will provide even more opportunities for classrooms across New Mexico to engage in hands-on learning experiences.

To facilitate this expansion, we will be providing classrooms with comprehensive kits that contain all the necessary tools and components. These kits have been meticulously designed to be adaptable and customizable, allowing teachers to tailor the projects to their curriculum requirements. Additionally, we will be offering a wide range of teaching materials that will complement the kits, making it easier for educators to integrate the program into their lesson plans.

We understand that ongoing support is crucial for the success of any educational initiative. That's why we will be offering virtual help sessions, where teachers can connect with our experts to seek guidance and assistance whenever needed. Furthermore, we are excited to announce that our team will also be available for in-person visits to classrooms, providing on-site support and further enriching the learning experience.

The various levels of the program have been thoughtfully crafted to develop and reinforce essential skills in design, drafting, coding, wiring, soldering, experimentation, and the physics of motion. By participating in the Robot Outreach program, your students will not only gain valuable technical knowledge but also enhance their problem-solving abilities and foster their creativity.
