To All SAAA Members,
During this season of giving, I’d like to acknowledge the tremendous contributions you made to the toy drive last evening benefitting The Battered Women’s and Children’s Shelter of San Antonio. You, our members, turned out big not only in person, but also with hundreds and hundreds of toys, too many to count. What an amazing sight to watch our members load toys in the truck donated by our member Trinity Towing. Just imagine what Christmas morning looks like now for these mothers watching their children enjoy Santa’s arrival, as all children deserve to do.
Members of the multifamily housing industry, both owners and suppliers, have huge hearts. SAAA recognizes it’s very hard at times to hear unfavorable and unfair comments about our industry. Last evening was yet one more example of how our critics are misinformed about who we are as an industry. SAAA and all its members care deeply about families and the properties our residents call home.
From the bottom of my heart, and I speak for our Board of Directors, staff, City Councilman Manny Pelaez and Shelter CEO Marta Pelaez, thank you to everyone who made many children’s Christmas brighter. Our Membership and Next Gen Committees along with our loyal members are rock stars, and you have our greatest admiration and appreciation.
I wish all of you a wonderful holiday season, and we hope you will join us December 15th from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at the SAAA Office for more holiday fun at the Ugly Christmas Sweater Party.
