The Lafayette Chamber Young Professionals held both socials and an educational event, meeting monthly throughout the year. The Lafayette Business Women launched in February and continued meeting at various Lafayette locations through November. We thank all the businesses who hosted both of these subcommittees: Headlands Brewing, Compass, Creekside Commons, Create and Flow Creative Studio, Pillar Cowork, Goddess Gatherings, Sexton Group Real Estate, Town Hall Theatre, Premier Kitchens, Harper Greer and Hollie's Homegrown. The always-sold-out Taste of Lafayette Restaurant Stroll showcased our downtown restaurants on a beautiful Tuesday night in May and supported the Community Foundation of Lafayette. Photo by Jeff Heyman.
The Acalanes Senior Car Rally celebrated 2023 graduates as they drove along Mt. Diablo Blvd. with family, friends, businesses, and the community cheering them on.
We kicked the summer off with the 2nd Annual Lafayette Community Day. We rocked the Plaza every Friday night with amazing musicians who afforded us many opportunities to dance the evening away and to cheer on the Lamorinda Idol Contestants.
We hired two new employees in May/June who hit the ground running, Luisa Miles and Rebekah Dani. And we welcomed baby Quell!
