LaGrange County Road Improvements

Informative Letter - 5 Lakes.png

The LaGrange County Highway Department was granted approval and funding for a County Road Improvement Plan. One of the sections of the Plan is focused exclusively on the roads of the county lake neighborhoods.

Recently, the County Commissioners awarded the first two phases of our lake road maintenance plan that will be completed this year. These phases include: Witmer, Oliver, Martin, Hackenburg, Messick, Dallas, Westler, and Atwood. You can find full details, and an image of roads included for Witmer Lake by clicking here.

Fireworks will be on Dallas Lake in 2022. The Fireworks will take place on Saturday, July 2 at dark.

Witmer Lake Flotilla

The Witmer Lake Flotilla returns for 2022!

The Flotilla will take place Saturday, July 2, at 1 p.m.

We need volunteers to help make the Flotilla a success. If you are interested in helping with the Flotilla, please reach out to Marie Brazel at (765) 631-0724.

All boats need to register for the event. If you plan to participate in the flotilla, please contact Jane Bowers at (260) 704-2232 to register.

Registered boats will meet at 12:45 on the west side of the Island. There will be a Boat Decoration Contest, with prizes for every boat. Boats from other lakes are welcome to join.

In order to maintain the water quality in our lake, you are reminded that water balloons are not permitted during the Flotilla.

Please contact Marie Brazel at (765) 631-0724 if you are able to volunteer to help.
