The magic we have been able to create in 2021, amidst a pandemic and difficult and very trying times in our country, has been nothing short of spectacular. We have placed incredible Merlin's KIDS service dogs with more than 30 children in need, and have rescued more than 60 dogs from euthanasia or life in a shelter. Sometimes, from tragedy springs miracles.
Merlin's KIDS continues to make miracles happen, with our unique behavioral approach to training service dogs. We do not train a dog to sit or lie down on command. We firmly believe that a service dog should not need a command to help its owner. The dog must truly be a kindred spirit with the owner. Merlin's KIDS service dogs truly are miracles and each placement must be magic for that family. We settle for nothing less than perfection. This has definitely been a tough year for us all, yet we are thriving and making magic happen every single day.
