RIVERVIEW AWARDED $6.4 MILLION
Apartment Complex Coming to Big Sky
On November 15, the Montana Board of Housing unanimously voted to award RiverView Apartments $6.4 million in federal funding.

RiverView is a collaboration between Lone Mountain Land Company, Resort Tax, Big Sky Water & Sewer, and BSCHT to develop around 100 rental units off Lone Mountain Trail.
This is an enormous achievement for the Big Sky community; thanks to those of you who sent letters of support!

"With rentals few and far between in Big Sky, The Big Sky Community Housing Trust (BSCHT) created a program called RENT LOCAL which matches up homeowners with reliable renters for long term leases in the Big Sky area by providing cash incentives to compete against the vacation rental market. To date, approximately 56 people have found housing in 29 different properties through the incentive-based program since August, 2021. . .

'We were checking housing opportunities multiple times every day and were the first ones to apply to a newly listed apartment on the housing trust website. After meeting the young and professional property owners, we ended up signing a year-long lease for an incredibly affordable apartment in a family neighborhood,' said Leslie. . .
