Today starts the sixth week of the state legislative session. This is always one of the busiest weeks of the year at the Arizona State Capitol as all bills must clear their initial committee assignments in order to continue. Other than Appropriations and Rules, all committees will likely meet one more time before this deadline. Then, for those bills that pass through these committees and floor votes successfully, the House committees will consider the ones that passed through the Senate and vice versa over the next four weeks. Attached is an updated transportation bill matrix describing all of the transportation infrastructure-related bills and their status. An updated list of all the one-time appropriation bills that would fund specific transportation projects is also attached.
