Blessing Bags Fall Update!

To welcome the holiday season, we want to share some highlights from our blessing bags journey back acrosss the country. We had the privilege of visiting 30 states this summer from California to Maine and then down to Florida.

We have been blessed to serve with families throughout the country! Additionally, we have distributed care packages and MANY copies of the book, Growing a Servant’s Heart, equipping families to continue serving together.

Here are a few highlights from our summer travels!

What’s next for the Ohaneson’s and BBI?

In total we have visited 36 states and look forward to visiting the remaining states in the spring. We are praying about potentially serving in Mexico around this time next year, asking God to clearly show us what that would look like for our family.

We hope to start hosting family-friendly mission trips to Mexico again, providing families with children opportunities to serve together abroad. We ask you to pray and see if you are one of those families!

Our highlight story!

Kimberly from Virginia wanted to help other families in her co-op serve together. She created her our unique blessing bags with a “Growing a Servant’s Heart” book inside each bag along with supplies to make homeless blessing bags. What a fabulous idea! We are considering replicating this idea at some events in the future. Thanks for all you are doing Kimberly! Keep it up, you are making a difference!

Looking for more ways to serve? Pick up a copy of “Growing a Servant’s Heart.” If you already have a book, we would love you to share your stories of serving together!
