2021 Commencement Update
As previously announced, the University will celebrate the Class of 2021 graduates with commencement ceremonies at the undergraduate and graduate levels on May 15-16, 2021. In addition, we will hold a virtual celebration for our Class of 2020 graduates.
The Class of 2021 ceremonies will be held outdoors under a tent at the Newtown campus location. Due to the logistics of social distancing, the ceremonies have been rescheduled as follows:
Saturday, May 15
9:30 a.m.
Undergraduate Ceremony for:
School of Arts & Sciences
School of Business Administration
School of Education
12:30 p.m.
Undergraduate Ceremony for:
School of Nursing and Allied Health Professions
Sunday, May 16
12:30 p.m.
Graduate and Doctoral Ceremony for:
School of Arts & Sciences
School of Business Administration
School of Education
School of Nursing and Allied Health Professions
NOTE: All in-person ceremonies will be livestreamed.

Class of 2020
Virtual Commencement
The virtual commencement will feature video remarks from University leadership as well as a personalized slide, optional video message and a name call for each of our 2020 graduates.
As a reminder, the University continues to follow all state and local health guidelines, so please use discretion in considering any travel for out-of-town guests. A contingency plan is in place should circumstances require a virtual event for the Class of 2021.
