The 2021 Business Hall of Fame Awards Dinner was full of excitement and energy as the Chamber celebrated the accomplishments of some truly outstanding people. We were very pleased to have Jim, Elizabeth, Carter and Pam join the Business Hall of Fame. Each one has contributed so much to Anne Arundel County it was very fitting for them to be honored. We also presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to Karen Olscamp for her dedicated service that made the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center a top-notch health care provider in our state. This year we decided to recognize a few “Hometown Heroes” who really stepped up and implemented some very creative ways to help others during the challenges and uncertainty created by COVID-19. Our Hometown Hero Awards went to Feed Anne Arundel, Annapolis Giving and The Bernie House. Their efforts made a significant difference for our community and we were very pleased to recognize them.
