Visceral Manipulation Introduction  Recap
September 29th - 30th 2018

This fall we hosted our fall education event at the Glenwood Springs Community Center in beautiful Glenwood Springs, Colorado.  Lori Dowiak, a wonderful instructor with the Barrel Institute, introduced us to the role of Visceral Manipulation in assisting functional and structural imbalances throughout the body.

During lunch on Saturday, September 29, we held our fall chapter meeting. Shelly Cox, CO AMTA Financial Administrator, reviewed the 2018 State Convention financials, the reserves balance and our how we are doing with our current budget. The CO AMTA Head Delegate, Deborah Bruce, gave a delegate update about what happened at the National Convention with the new Assembly of Delegates. David Gray, Legislative/Government Relations Chair, briefed us on what is happening on the forefront of DORA and legislative activity. The CO AMTA Chapter President, Tami Schumacker, gave a quick synopsis of what the board attended at the 2018 National Convention in Washington, DC in August. Andy Kissick, Delegate, gave the official launch for the 2019 Colorado AMTA State Massage Therapy Convention.

First time Chapter meeting attendees with Colorado AMTA President, Tami Schumacher.
