World Intellectual Property Day!

MCR wishes all of our friends and clients a very productive World IP Day. In 2000, the member states of the World International Patent Office ("WIPO") designated April 26 - the day on which the WIPO Convention came into force in 1970 - as World IP Day. This is a day dedicated to learning about the role that intellectual property rights play in every patent, trademark, industrial design and copyright.

Each year companies all over the world host events centered on the theme set forth by WIPO. This year the theme WIPO is exploring is "Powering Change: Women in Innovation and Creativity". It is a campaign that celebrates the brilliance, ingenuity, curiosity and courage of the women who are driving change in our world and shaping our common future.
