As a full-service management consulting firm, we have been partnering with our clients and helping to shape the future of the tennis and fitness industries through four different corporate avenues.
Our services are designed specifically to help clubs, facilities and home owner associations.
1. Recruiting and Retaining "Best-In-Class" Tennis and Fitness Professionals. The bread and butter of any club or facility is its staff. It's imperative that the hiring governing body understands where the industry is and how to attract the best candidates from a local or national search if planning a change in staffing. With our knowledge of the business, our database of excellent candidates and our experience working with some of the leading clubs and home owner associations in the country, we can advise unlike any other firm when it comes to recruiting staff.
Often, a turnover of staff at the club is an opportunity to realize the club's true desires as well as board and committee members' underlying motives. We provide an unbiased and objective viewpoint as we supervise and monitor the hiring and contractual processes. By creating a club profile prior to writing a job description, we work with the current staff before looking to recruit new staff if required.
2. Programming and Participation Leads to Progress and Profit. Through intuitive and integrating programming on the court and in the gym, we can help grow member participation. This is key to growth, financial stability and maturity at any leisure facility. Working closely with club management and professionals, we can compare data from our industry with your facility's data and see where the strengths, and more importantly, the weaknesses are in terms of programming and usage. We look at usage, member numbers, demographics and club-held data and then transfer that knowledge to creating more appropriate programming to bolster participation levels on the courts and in the fitness center.
3. Country Club Management Structures. Does your facility require a Head Tennis Professional or Director of Tennis and what might be the differences between those two positions? Often we find that there may be a lack of committee or Board supervision over programming. Or, vice-versa, the Board is too involved with the day-to-day running of the tennis or fitness program. Why is this? What is the background for this involvement? We look at the management structure at each of our clients as an on-going process and work with our clients to streamline decision making, short-term and long-term financial planning and work to create clear and concise communication channels.
4. Working With Industry Professionals To Become Best-In-Class. Finally, we work closely with professionals already on our national database along with professionals who may already be at your facility to bring them up to the benchmark that is Best-In-Class. We look at updating the professionals' knowledge not only with on-court programming ideas, but also look at demonstrating new and required communication techniques such as text, social media outlets, and emails. These can all be centered around club software or a reservation system. We have helped to recruit and then retain some of the leading professionals across the country and look to help our industry as a whole through providing educational and integrative programming to all our industry professionals.
