Become a Part of the Tradition.

2016 Theme: A Classic Christmas

The holiday season is quickly approaching and the Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the Annual Christmas Parade and Santa Visits.
The parade will follow a familiar route through town and begin in South Elkins. The parade will end at the Elkins-Randolph County YMCA, where activities, photos with Santa and refreshments will be available at no charge thanks to the generous aid of the Christmas Parade Committee, and the Inter-Mountain Staff who donate their time and passion.

New this year, parade watchers can participate in pop-up Christmas Caroling that will take place at various locations along the parade route, lead by local community choral groups.

Entry forms are available through the Chamber at 304-636-2717 and website www.erccc.com. Each year the parade averages 50 entries. This year's main sponsor is Citizens Bank of West Virginia. 

We would also like to thank the Randolph County Commission for their generous aid as well.  Without the kindness of community members, this event would be not possible.

Refreshments will be served to the children while they decorate cards, enjoy entertainment, and make their wish lists to give to Santa.

The Inter-Mountain once again will provide a photographer to take photos with Santa. In order to cut down on wait times, one photo will be taken per family, and there is no charge to receive one printed image.


Classic Christmas tunes will be performed by local entertainers such as Gracie Metheny, Rachael Franks from the Franks Family Music Show, Seth Maynard and perhaps more inside the YMCA as well.
