The Science of Sound Vibration
From: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Cost $40

Sanskrit is the language of meditation, healing and enlightenment. Every sound is a mantra - full of power and grace. Chanting the sounds of Sanskrit has a profound healing and revitalizing effect on the body and mind. We'll explore different types of chanting including the individual unique sounds of the alphabet, Bhagavad Gita, Yoga Sutras, repetition of the divine names (japa), and a beautiful cosmic peace chant from the Vedas.

Ma Bhaskarananda (Ma Bha) is a longtime resident teacher of Sanskrit, meditation and Yoga-Vedanta philosophy at Ananda Ashram in New York, which was founded by Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati, author of The Textbook of Yoga Psychology and The Fundamentals of Yoga. Ma Bha also travels and teaches at centers worldwide.
