It's no small praise when someone of the ilk of Neal Martin, Robert Parker's 'Wine Advocate' Burgundy reviewer, states "Domaine Marc Colin are currently making some of the greatest whites in Burgundy."  It's the sort of claim to make you pause and think.

Not that we'd disagree - we've loved the powerful, complex whites produced by Marc Colin for years.  Drawing upon fine vineyards in Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint Aubin primarily (although the domaine consisted of some thirty distinct appellations over 20 hectares in vines), the wines are powerful and complex, yet retain excellent minerality and line.

The vines are farmed lutte raisonee - essentially organic - are whilst winemaking is traditional, recent vintages have been refined further such as relying solely upon indigenous yeasts and six months elevage in stainless steel tank after being racked from barrel prior to bottling.
