OK, you have waited long enough. Its time to join Exum Mountain Guides on one of 2014 Backcountry Ski Weeks offered in partnership with the Alpine House. Each week will be filled with backcountry skiing and ski mountaineering in the Tetons, and will finish with a guided day of out-of-bounds skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort! Another added bonus is a half-day of skiing at Snow King Mountain with your guide. Your time at Snow King will give you a chance to refine your turns, work on steep skiing techniques, efficient skinning movements or ski mountaineering skills. Ski Mountaineering Clinics

Exum's New 3-Day Ski Mountaineering Clinic is designed to take the accomplished backcountry skier and teach them the necessary skills to allow them to more confidently access higher peaks in Tetons or any mountain range in the world.

Topics and skills to be covered are: gear selection, anchor construction, intro to technical rope work, use of an ice axe and crampons, steep skiing technique, partner communication, terrain assessment and hazard evaluation.
