What's important now?

Just 2 more weeks!

It's June and we're just 2 weeks away from the 50th anniversary of the Tour of MN, and we're so looking forward to seeing you all soon at the Cannon Valley Fairgrounds (packet pickup starts at 3:30; welcome meeting starts at 7:15)

ROUTES: As expected, we needed to make changes to the route. Most of it has to do with recent unforeseen construction on the routes. See below for the latest updated maps and turn by turn directions. To access them through your mobile device, simply go to this link for Ride with GPS, where you will be able to download. If you do not already have an account, you will need to sign up for one. It's free. If you already have an account, you may have to log out first to access the 2024 TOM routes.

NOTE: If you want hard paper copies, you will need to print them yourself ahead of the event using these links below. Day #4 is the rest day to explore Waconia, so there is not a map for that day.

Day 1

Day 2 (2 day sampler route)

Day 2 (full route)

Day 2 (shorter route)

Day 3 (full route)

Day 3 (shorter route)

Day 5

Day 6

Day 7

MASSAGE SERVICE: This year, we will have massage service offered on several of the days of the bike tour. If you'd like, you can sign up for slots ahead of time.

Saturday, June 15 in Cannon Falls

Wednesday, June 19 in Waconia

Thursday, June 20 in Stillwater

We hope to add more days if our massage therapists are able to do so.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Although we already have lots of staff and volunteers, we could use help with check in the opening night, as well as "sweepers" each morning we have group rides. Sweepers ride at the back of the group and stay with/behind the last riders to help ensure they make it through the route. Here's a LINK to see where we still need help.

COMMUNICATION DURING BIKE TOUR: We will post important info in camp each morning and also do evening announcements before dinner. However, one of the main ways we will communicate updates to participants during the actual tour is through the (free) Remind app on your mobile device.

Click one of the links below to sign up for the app ahead of the tour when you know you will have Wi-Fi available.

Pick the group below that you feel applies best to you to sign up...

THEME DAYS: To help you plan, here are the themes for the week.

Sunday, June 16 (STATE & SCHOOL PRIDE) rep your state or alma mater

Wednesday, June 19 (TOUR OF MN) wear some TOM gear for the social*

Friday, June 21 (WACKY DAY) get creative!

*The "social" is a time during the afternoon of our rest day for our riders to hang out and socialize in a low-key picnic type atmosphere. Attire is casual. This year, we will be inviting past participants to join us for the social. Attendance is optional; fun is unavoidable!

REST DAY IN WACONIA: When we arrive in Waconia on (Day 3) Tuesday, June 18, you will be "on your own" for meals until the group breakfast on Thursday morning, June 20. There are numerous restaurants and food stores along Highway 5 and in town. We hope to have a shuttle bus that can provide rides from the campsite at the Waconia Middle School to Main St as well as a few local attractions. More info to come next week.

HOTELS: If you are a "weeklong" rider staying in a hotel at all during the bike tour, please fill out this survey to help us know where to bring your luggage. If you've already filled it out, no need to do it again.

Look for another message the week of the actual bike tour! We will post our menu for the week then.

For now, check out the tabs below!
