Look What You've Made Possible So Far in 2023!

Thank you for supporting our efforts to transform the lives of children in need through the power of education! Your donations enable thousands of underprivileged children to grow up educated and confident, with futures full of hope and opportunity. Through our Coloring Futures and Bridging Gaps initiatives, we have served more than 2,200 children thus far in 2023, bringing to more than 36,000 children who have benefited from our work. We could not have done this without you! Visit our Impact Page for stories about our projects and the children and families we serve.

English-language Classes

We enrolled our 16 scholars, who live in an orphanage in Cambodia, in off-site high-level English-language classes where they will learn to read, write, and speak English from qualified English teachers.

Art Tablets & Technology

United States

We delivered digital art tablets to underserved students at Oral Lee Brown Foundation in Oakland, California—a hi-tech complement to traditional studio art tools.

Computer Technology & Education

We delivered computers to a secondary school in Cambodia, which will benefit more than 250 underprivileged children who now have access to computer education for the first time in this school’s history.

Computer Center & Library

We opened the doors to our first stand-alone computer center and library, located in Nepal, benefitting thousands of underserved children and funded by the Behring Global Education Foundation.

Educational Supplies & Resources

We delivered interactive, hands-on educational supplies to an underserved primary school in Cambodia, providing access to quality school materials to more than 900 students and their teachers.

All-girls School Renovation

We adopted an all-girls school in India and made significant interior and exterior renovations to the building, creating a healthier learning environment for the girls as they continue their educational journey. Watch the video documenting Phase 1.

Bicycles for Scholars

We delivered bicycles to our 16 scholars who live in an orphanage in Cambodia. The bicycles will cut student commute time to and from school and provide a measure of safety while commuting in the early evenings and late nights.

Yours Humanly Receives $213K Grant From City of Concord

In March 2023, Yours Humanly received a $213,000 grant from the City of Concord, California, to fund a comprehensive literacy project that will benefit more than 4,000 students across ten Concord elementary schools through the Yours Humanly Literacy Program. To promote early literacy and grade level proficiency, we will use the funds to provide picture books, chapter books, leveled reading books, and bilingual books for students and classrooms in need, and host two on-campus Family Literacy nights per school (fall and spring) to encourage parent engagement and reading at home. We deeply appreciate the City of Concord’s belief in the work we do and look forward to putting this important early literacy project in place on behalf of children. Read the full news release.
