Dear Morning Star Families and Friends,

A reminder that re-enrollment packets for next school year are due back tomorrow, February 3rd. We will be accepting new students starting Thursday, February 4th. We only have a few openings throughout the four departments, so it is imperative that you return the enrollment packet in a timely manner After the 4th we cannot guarantee a spot for your child. Morning Star’s tuition assistance forms are at the front office. If you would like to be consider for 2021-2022 tuition assistance, please fill out and return.  Tuition assistance is never guaranteed.

Catholic Schools Week, the annual celebration of Catholic education is this week! This year’s theme is Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service. Our students are having a blast! We have something planned for them everyday that celebrates attending a catholic school.

I would personally like to thank the parents, grandparents, and local businesses who have graciously bought items for our teachers and our school from the Wish List. I would also like to thank everyone who has donated to our Annual Fund. Please know we appreciate your support and feel blessed to be surrounded by so many people who care about Morning Star School. Thank you for all you do!

REMINDERS
Catholic Schools Week
Catholic Schools Week is this week! National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. Expect a week full of surprises! Faith, Service and Knowledge are the hallmarks of a Catholic education. We will express these values throughout a week of celebration!

We are collecting canned fruit for Catholic Charities during Catholic Schools Week. Please have your students bring in as many cans as you are able.

Friday - Crazy Hair, Hat, and Socks DaY
February Masses

Thursday, February 4th, 10:00 am our school Mass will be held at Christ the King Church.

Wednesday, February 17th, 10:00 am our school's Ash Wednesday Mass will be held at Christ the King Church.
Mass will be live streamed and distance learning students are required to attend virtually. Attendance will be counted towards their religion grade. Parents and families are also welcome to view virtually.

2021-2022 Registration

Box Tops is a great way to earn fundraising dollars! And now there is a new phone app which makes it easier to earn points for our school! Shop as you normally would, then simply scan your store receipts to find participating products. The app will automatically credit your school's Box Tops earnings online. It's a much easier way to help us earn dollars.

You may still clip Box Tops and send them to school. Physical Box Tops clips are being phased out of production but may continue to be found on many products throughout the store.

A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER...
  • Turn in your box tops weekly. They do expire.
  • Be sure to NOT cut the code off. We cannot use it if the code is missing even one of the digits.
  • Place them in a zip lock bag and send them in with your student.
