Housing Delaware's Most Vulnerably Homeless

Delaware Campaign Kicks-Off
In August 2011, Delaware joined the 100,000 Homes Campaign, an initiative that is bringing change agents together to find homes for 100,000 vulnerable, long-term homeless individuals and families nationally by 2014. Together, we are fundamentally altering our response to homelessness!
As part of the 100,000 Homes initiative, campaign partners are coordinating Delaware's Registry Week, June 2-8th, when more than 300 volunteers will take to the streets to survey and identify Delaware's most vulnerable homeless. The information collected during Delaware's Registry Week will be used to create a by-name registry that will serve to prioritize those homeless individuals who have been living on the streets the longest and quickly move them into permanent housing.
The Campaign relies on Delaware's leading homeless service providers, as well as the public and private sectors, to commit resources including housing units, supportive services and supplies.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are reaching out to you, your organizations, and your community to help us house Delaware's most vulnerably homeless. There are multiple ways that you can become involved: volunteering during the Registry Week, donating supplies for the Registry Week, donating move-in kits for the homeless to move into their permanent homes, or to provide monetary support for this effort.
