Multicultural alumni receptions also took place for the Association of Bowdoin Latinx Alumni (ABLA), Bowdoin College Black Alumni Association  (BCBAA), and Bowdoin Asian Alumni Association, also known as RepresentAsian.

2023–2024 Athletic Season Ends with a Flourish

Polar Bears put a successful cap on their spring campaigns, highlighted by senior Tristan Bradley, who participated in Commencement on Saturday, May 25, then traveled to St. Louis that evening to play in the NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Championships. Bradley rolled to five wins in three days, becoming Bowdoin’s second-ever individual national champion with a three-set victory on Tuesday, May 28. That followed an outstanding spring season for the men’s tennis program, which won the NESCAC title and advanced to the national semifinals before falling to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps

The men’s lacrosse team put together a dramatic postseason run of their own in the NCAA Division III Tournament, earning an at-large bid and knocking off nationally ranked RPI and NESCAC rival Middlebury to make their first-ever national semifinal appearance. Despite a season-ending loss to RIT, the Polar Bears were honored with a school-record eight All-American honorees

The sailing team competed in a pair of national championships in late May, finishing ninth overall at the Open Fleet Race Nationals and taking fourteenth in the Women’s Fleet Race Nationals on the Charles River in Boston.

Meanwhile, the outdoor track and field teams had three athletes participate in the NCAA Division III Championships in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on Memorial Day weekend and brought home three All-American awards
