Dear valued Halacha For Today Reader, 

With deep and endless gratitude to Hashem, we are celebrating our , 16th Anniversary!

It feels like just yesterday that I was inspired to start this Halacha email, and yet here we are, with Hashem's never ending help, on 22 Sivan 5784, about to enter our 17th year of Halacha For Today! (The first email was sent on 22 Sivan 5768, June 25 2008)

Many important topics have been covered (archives of which can be seen here), thousands of halachic questions have been raised (1,000+ of which can be seen here) and many new subscribers - fellow Yidden from around the world - continue to join us almost daily, Baruch Hashem.

From the first handful of readers back in Sivan of 5768 to the thousands of readers that we, B'siyata D'shmaya, have today as part of the 'Halacha For Today' family, we all have one thing in common: We are all striving to grow and live our lives in accordance with the will of Hashem!

Halacha is the manual by which a Jew must live his/her life, and, with Hashem's constant help, Halacha For Today has been encouraging many people to do just that!

The great Torah sage, HaRav Shlomo Zalmen Auerbach Zatzal used to say "The first part of Shulchan Aruch is referred to as Orach Chaim, the way of life, because it is impossible for a Jew to abide by the Torah without knowing the entire Orach Chaim!"

I want to take this opportunity to thank the backbone of Halacha For Today: YOU, the reader!

Whether you joined us back in 2008, or if you joined us more recently, each and every one of you is a vital part of the success of this project.

You come from around the globe - Eretz Yisroel, USA, Australia, Canada, Belgium, Argentina, Switzerland, England, France and many other places - but are all united in your dedication to following the word of Hashem! ASHREICHEM!

I want to give Shevach V'Hoda'ah the Ribono Shel Olam for giving us the strength to complete 16 years of Halacha For Today without missing even a single day. There are days when it is difficult and it is daunting, and many times the Yetzer Hara/Satan has schemed and plotted to try and stop it, but YOU, dear readers, give me the strength to continue, day in, day out, no matter what! YOUR s'char for being part of this project is unfathomable!

As we begin our 17th year together, it is our collective Tefilah to Hakadosh Baruch Hu that we merit to continue growing our family and never miss a day of Halacha For Today!

A special note of thanks to those of you who have helped Halacha For Today grow by spreading the word, forwarding the emails, contributing items for the "Chizuk Corner", staying engaged via email correspondence or making much needed and appreciated dedications and donations. Every little bit helps and Hashem will surely repay all of you and your families thousand-fold for your part in spreading His word.
