Sculpture Installation at
the Arcade
Iyaba Ibo Mandingo installed sculpture and paintings at the Arcade. His works on view included this stunning "Ankheit Future" and 30 images from a series depicting the Black Caribbean Migration to North America, Bridgeport Art Trail hosted an artists' talk for students from Bridgeport public schools' military academy. They toured City Lights gallery, the Arcade mall, viewed the new downtown murals and Housatonic Museum of Art.

Bridgeport Students Tour the Art Trail

Ursa Gallery
Artist/Gallerist Cris Dam presents 2 exhibits at his Arcade galleries, including the conceptual exhibit "Drawing in the Dark". Viewers can discover hundreds of drawings and black and white works on paper, in a dark gallery, seen with handheld LED flashlights.

Supporting the Ukraine
Throughout the crisis, Ukrainian born artist Inna Linov created a series of posters, channeling her frustration by creating posters to raise funds to support those suffering from the Russian invasion.

Bobby T and the Name Droppers raised funds for the Ukraine at the Bijou Theatre

Bridgeport Art Trekkers enjoyed live music all weekend long, hands-on demos, and receptions with lite bites and drink. Music ranged from Classical to Reggae to Punk Rock. | | |
Among the activities were a community mosaic, textile collage, glass blowing demo, body painting, tai chi and music therapy and drum circle. | | |
Oddities Bazaar at the Arcade | |
Over 1500 visitors toured the art and activities at the Arcade Mall, including the Oddities Bazaar. Vendors sold handmade, vintage and artisanal items. | |
