From Refugees to Citizens

Since last October, our UCFS-CALC team has assisted 134 people in applying for U.S. Citizenship by supporting them with paperwork, providing one-on-one interview practice, and guiding them through the entire process.

Helping our clients become citizens guarantees them the right to vote, access to social security benefits, healthcare services, permanent residency, and other important rights, all of which contribute to building a secure and stable future in the United States.

Food Pantry Volunteers Needed

Join us this Thursday and Friday as a volunteer for our upcoming Food Pantry!

Volunteering is simple; just show up in comfy clothes to our Food Pantry at 2033 Austin Drive in Troy at 8:30am-10:00am.

Volunteer by yourself, with friends, family, or colleagues. Our team is excited to welcome you! No prior sign-up is required.

CAAHP Walk-A-Thon This Sunday

CAAHP has partnered up with UCFS-CALC this year for their 8th Annual CAAHP Walk-A-Thon on Sunday, August 25th, 2024 at Boulan Park. All proceeds benefit the UCFS-CALC Food Pantry, Cooking with CALC, and the CAAHP Scholarship Program for Healthcare Students of Chaldean Heritage.

While we accept gently used items in our Sharehouse, we provide our Clients with brand-new items as well. We do this for many reasons, such as the longevity of the item or for hygiene purposes, but most importantly, because our Clients deserve a dignified experience.
