Training Tip from B.A.A. Coach Mark Carroll
Women's Lead Pack
"The 2022 Boston Marathon is fewer than 18 weeks away, and it's time to think about your training progression as you start the New Year. Think about how many training phases you plan to incorporate and what your mileage, long runs, and workout goals are in each phase. I advise setting your Boston Marathon goal and working backwards from race weekend as you outline your phases. Remember, you have 18 weeks, and it's always best to build gradually and patiently to peak at the right time in April!"
-- Mark Carroll, B.A.A. High Performance Team Coach, two-time Olympian, and 2:10 marathoner.
