The recent Ningxia Wine, Culture and Tourism Promotion event in New York City showcased the benefits of Ningxia wine and modern agriculture. Attendees were treated to a tasting of fine wine from the Eastern Foothills of Helan Mountain in Ningxia and introduced to the "Twenty-One Scenes of Ningxia". The event sparked a strong interest in Ningxia's cultural tourism, wine, and local products among the guests. They expressed their enthusiasm for more vibrant communication and cooperation between Ningxia and the United States.
Consul General, Huang Ping of the People's Republic of China in New York; Bai Yuzhen, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region; Elizabeth Chin, Executive Director, of the New York Chapter of the Asia-Pacific Tourism Association, also gave a speech, respectively.
Ma Yunfei, Director of the China Tourism Office in New York, and more than 100 representatives from business, overseas Chinese, and media sectors of the East American cultural tourism industry attended.
Elizabeth Chin, Executive Director of NY PATA, expressed her gratitude to Bai Yuzhen, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region for bringing a marvelous experience to NYC. The event allowed people to learn about the region's history and traditions, as well as savor the unique flavors of their wines. With a shared passion for fine wine, cultural exchange and tourism, Elizabeth looks forward to fostering a strong relationship between NY PATA and Cai Ju, Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Ningxia.
The Ningxia Wine Culture Tourism Promotion event, held at the Virgin Hotel 36th floor penthouse was a great success, and Elizabeth believes that it will have a positive impact on promoting Chinese culture in NYC.
