RI Rebounds Energy Efficiency Program
The Program is a statewide effort to assist small businesses reduce their energy costs by implementing measures that improve energy efficiency. This initiative will support small businesses recover from the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, including rising energy costs experienced in 2020-2021, by reimbursing small businesses up to $10,000 for energy efficiency measures implemented as the result of an energy efficiency audit. Workplace Accessibility Grants
The Workplace Accessibility Grant Program promotes employment and economic opportunity for individuals with disabilities through investment in accessible workplaces. It provides a 100% reimbursement for eligible costs up to $5,000 per calendar year. 1-on-1 Virtual Office Hours Appointments: Participants can book a 1-on-1, 20-minute, online appointment with a member of Business Services where they will answer any questions they may have about starting a business. This is a good option for people that feel overwhelmed, don’t know where to start and want some individual attention.
Business Assistant: This is an online tool that based on the answers they provide to a few basic questions about their business, gives users a customized do-list of state licenses to apply for, business registration forms to fill out, and laws regulations to read.
Rhode Island Small Business Development Center (RISBDC)
RI BSDC offers entrepreneurs with no cost, one-on-one counseling, training and access to important resources, at all stages of business; startup through maturity. Our services are in the realm of financial planning, business plan development, market research, loan application development, branding, licensing and permits, and more.
