Christine Chang

Christine C. Chang has 25 years of experience in institutional and family office asset management with both traditional and alternative investments. As Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer, she has led senior management teams to build operational and regulatory infrastructure and technology, in addition to developing strategic marketing plans and high net worth client relationships. Christine has advised hedge funds, private equity funds, firms building their alternative investment business, family offices structuring their investment vehicles and direct transactions, and portfolio companies in transition. Christine is an advisor to Artesian Capital Management, a global leader in sustainable and impact investing and the most active early-stage VC in Asia, and Finitive, the leading data-driven private credit marketplace. She is the US representative of Avire Finance, a European family office advisor, an advisory board member of Glasswing Ventures, an AI and frontier technologies investor, Hike2, an innovative digital transformation consultancy, Bridge Point Capital, a cross-border private equity firm, and TAP Financial Partners, a boutique SME merchant bank. She is a member of TBD Angels, a group of angel investors who are current operators at leading startups and executives at major companies. Christine previously served as Chairman of the Board of Blueprint Capital Advisors, LLC, a $1.4 billion MWBE-owned registered investment advisor of alternative credit. In addition, she served on the advisory board of Uplinq, an advanced analytics platform assessing small business financial health. She served as Chief Executive Officer of 6th Avenue Capital, LLC, a small business funder and thought leader in alternative financing and fintech. Christine was COO of its affiliate, Nexlend Capital Partners, an algorithmic trading firm investing in consumer lending. She has also served on the advisory board of Uplinq, an advanced analytics platform assessing small business financial health. Christine is a member of the Presidential Council of Cornell Women and the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network. She has served as Chairman on the board of Bottomless Closet, a not-for-profit empowering women in NYC to achieve financial self-sufficiency. She is also member of 100 Women in Finance and High Water Women. In addition, she is head of the Professional Advisors Committee of the Optometric Center of New York (OCNY), the allied and endowing foundation of the State University of New York College of Optometry. She has been a mentor in Columbia Business School’s Nonprofit Board Leadership Program and Cornell's Alumni-Student Mentoring Program. She earned her B.A. from Cornell University.
Alexandra Lebenthal
Senior Advisor, Houlihan Lokey
Ms. Lebenthal is a Senior Advisor in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Sponsors Group and leads the firm’s Women-Led; Specialized Investment Banking Services for Women-Led Companies. She is based in the firm’s New York office. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Ms. Lebenthal was the CEO of Lebenthal Holdings, LLC, a municipal bond firm founded by her grandparents in 1925, which she joined in 1988. She started her career in the municipal bond department at Kidder Peabody. Over the course of her career, Ms. Lebenthal has been a leader and champion for women in business. She has received many awards and recognition, including being named one of New York's “100 Most Influential Women” by Crain’s New York Business in 1999 and one of the “Top 50 Women in Wealth Management” by Wealth Manager in 2009. In 2013, she was named to both Crain’s “Largest Women-Owned Businesses” and “Fast 50” lists. Ms. Lebenthal was also named to Crain’s New York Business’ 2022 Notable Women on Wall Street and to the 2023 Most Influential Women in Mid-Market M&A by Mergers & Acquisitions. Ms. Lebenthal is on the board of Graf Acquisition and an advisory board member of Interprice Technologies Inc. She is also the New York City Chair of C200, the leading organization for women in business. Ms. Lebenthal holds a B.A. in History from Princeton University.
Claudia Perlich
Data Scientist, Two Sigma
Claudia Perlich is the head of Strategic Data Science at Two Sigma. Prior to this, Claudia Perlich served as a chief scientist at Dstillery, an ad-tech company operating in the programmatic advertising space. In this role, she was responsible for the reliable estimation of targeting models (predictive modeling/ranking models using NB/logistic regression and others), the performance evaluation of systems/models and campaigns both in vitro and vivo, as well as the supervision of a real-time scoring engine that applies the models to identify the target segments of browsers. Since 2011, Claudia has also worked as an adjunct professor teaching Data Mining in the M.B.A. program at the New York University Stern School of Business. As a research staff member in the Data Analytics Research Group at the IBM Watson Research Center (2004 to 2010), she led teams that completed successfully in KDD Data Mining Competitions, designed and executed wallet/opportunity estimation models for IBM Sales using quantile regression, and worked on blog and twitter analysis tools for marketing. Claudia holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the New York University Stern School of Business (2004), an M.S. in Computer Science from Technical University Darmstadt, Germany (1998), an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Colorado (1996), and a B.S. in Computer Science from Technical University Darmstadt, Germany (1995).
Sai Uppuluri
Director, Houlihan Lokey
Mr. Uppuluri is a member of Houlihan Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. He focuses on Technology Strategy and Data Science intensive portfolio valuations, such as, whole loan pools, ABS, and illiquid assets. He leads HL’s service lines on CECL and Credit Risk Transfers. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Uppuluri worked for multiple fintechs (OnDeck, ODX, Jetty, judi.ai etc.) as the Chief Risk and Analytics Officer/Head of Risk &Analytics or Advisor, deploying AI based Fraud, Underwriting and Marketing solutions in B2B and B2C lending. He has expertise designing, deploying and monitoring predictive and Natural Language Processing based models in production for both the fintechs and their bank partners – American Express, J.P Morgan Chase, PNC Bank etc. Prior to his fintech experience, he served as Managing Director of Portfolio Management at MBIA Insurance, Director at Standard & Poor’s, and an analytical engineer in computer aided-engineering. Mr. Uppuluri holds a B.Eng. from Osmania University, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Columbia Business School. He volunteers for Sewa International, a nonprofit organization.
Michelle Noyes
Managing Director, Head of Americas, AIMA
Michelle Noyes joined AIMA in 2012 as Chief Operating Officer of AIMA's New York office, and became the Association's Head of Americas in 2017. Previously, she was Head of International Sales and Investor Relations for BRZ Investimentos, one of the largest independent asset managers in Brazil. While in Sao Paulo, she also served as the Brazil representative for AIMA and established the AIMA Brazil network. Michelle began her career in hedge funds as General Manager for a global conference organizer, where she launched and managed a portfolio of successful asset management and investment events. Michelle holds a B.A. and M.A. from New York University and is a CAIA Charterholder.
