Clayton Christensen introduced "Disruptive Innovation" to the business world in the mid 1990s. Companies, thought leaders, and academics have now been applying and fleshing-out that basic disruptive concept for over two decades.
Disruptive products and technologies change some small part of life. Like mushrooms, they often arrive out of nowhere. The disruptor is jubilant. It is now on a pure green field and the rewards are big. This perfect pasture, shared by many competitors, now has a problem requiring attention. Sometimes the problem can be dispatched, like when VHS won-out over a superior Betamax back in the day. Most often, the disruptor takes over the field.
GGI recently examined the various approaches that have evolved in twenty years. We identified ten differentiable approaches that achieve breakthroughs and disruption.
There are also shades of gray. How new is "new-to?" Does disruptive differ from transformational? Can breakthrough be next generation, or is it beyond next gen?
Each of the ten breakthrough "methods" will be presented, along with recommendations on how to commercialize breakthrough products that may be ahead of their time.
References to all cited materials are provided in sufficient detail to enable webinar participants to follow-up on one or more of the approaches that might be possible in their corporate environment.

Each of the ten strategies have both commonalities and unique features. The webinar will conclude by contrasting the 10 "Breakthrough" Techniques to the varying degrees of radical and newness.
