  • All students may wear a costume to school. Costumes must be school appropriate-no gory, scary, or inappropriate costumes will be permitted. If your child prefers not to wear a costume, he or she may dress in orange and black.

  • Activities will be planned throughout the day. Students will remain with their class, keeping cohorts together during activities. It will not be a whole school event as it has been in the past.

  • Our everyday health and safety guidelines will be followed during this event. Any snacks or drinks provided will be store-bought and individually pre-packaged. Students will collect candy and trinkets throughout the day. Teachers typically allow students to eat one or two pieces of candy, and the rest is sent home. If you would prefer your child not partake in the snacks provided, please email your child's teacher and send in separate snacks for your child for this day.

  • If your child is remote learning during the 2nd nine weeks, we will have a packet for them so he or she can partake in activities as well. Packets may be picked up on Wednesday, 10/28 or Thursday, 10/29 during school hours (8am-3pm). If you need to pick up after that, after school is until 6pm, but please reach out to us and let us know if you are coming during after school care hours.
ON CAMPUS
Happy Birthday Ms. Shott!

Ms. Shott received cards and well wishes on her birthday last week. She was surprised with decorations in her office and delicious cupcakes. Students sang her happy birthday after she received her birthday blessing from Father Boddie at school Mass. We hope Ms. Shott had a wonderful birthday!
Sonic the Service Hedge Hog

There are so many things going on in the classroom that sometimes it can be difficult to pay attention. But don't fear.... Sonic is here! This cute and cuddly little hedge hog always come to the rescue! Sonic provides comfort and support to students who have a hard time staying focused. we love you Sonic!
October Mass

Even though we have had to make changes to comply with social distancing regulations our school Mass has been going very smoothly. We do miss having guests and our distance learners in attendance but we have been live streaming the Mass so all may participate virtually.
Our Outdoor Fitness Area is Almost Done!

The equipment and artificial turf have been installed! We also used the leftover turf outside our Primary classroom. Everyone is so excited to get out there and play! A huge thank you to the Chartrand Family for making this dream a reality!
JUNIOR HIGH NEWS
Ms. Hurst’s JH2 Science class learned about plant and animal cell similarities and differences. Each student decorated a graham cracker for a plant cell and a jumbo sugar cookie for an animal cell. After using various candies that resembled the specific parts of each cell, students ate their “edible” cells. It was really “sweet”!
