Check-In Procedure

All conference attendees must first go to check-in to get their conference badge. Badges are grouped by attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and volunteers. The badge will have your name and entitle you to access to the sessions, exhibit spaces, and breakout rooms. Badges will be organized by the first letter of your last name. On the back of the badge is the schedule for the day. A colored dot will be in the top right corner specifying your Breakout Session assignment.

If your badge is not there, there may be a few reasons why. You are a guest of one of the "talent attendees" and you did not notify us in advance, or your application was never accepted to the conference.

If you are the guest of a “talent attendee”, then we will print you a badge at the check-in area. Those who did not pre-register will not receive a green “meal” ticket and will need to make other lunch plans.

In the Badge Sleeve there will be two tickets.

  • The green ticket is your meal ticket. At lunchtime, exchange your ticket for a boxed lunch.
  • The purple ticket is your gift ticket. At the end of the day, you will have an opportunity to exchange your ticket for a special gift.

About the Autism in Entertainment Conference

The Autism In Entertainment Conference is the result of a strategic collaboration between the nonprofit Orange County Asperger’s Support Group (OCASG) and disability-focused staffing and consulting firm Zavikon, plus the California Department of Developmental Services (DDS).

DDS supports AIE with a generous grant for the symposium. AIE seeks to connect entertainment top brass with work-ready job candidates who are on the spectrum.
