RNO is bringing you more of what you love, including more art to the airport. Introducing the all-new Arts at the Airport program, designed to showcase captivating public and local art that celebrates our unique community. As a testament to our commitment, 1% of airport Capital Improvement Project (CIP) design and construction costs will be dedicated to this dynamic arts program.

RNO has many projects coming soon as the MoreRNO Infrastructure Program is underway. Along with a more room in the ticketing hall, more space to park your car and more gates in the two new concourses, RNO will bring in more art to complement the thriving local art scene.

About the Program

The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority, owner and operator of RNO, receives no tax dollars and is financially self-sufficient. Every dollar made at RNO is invested back into the airport.

Passengers got into the groove with lively performances throughout the month of July. Three local groups High Desert Harmony, The Note-Ables and Silver Sage Ukuladies, performed in the airport as part of RNO’s Artown festivities. We spotted passengers tapping their toes to the rhythm and even dance through the terminal as they caught their flight.

Construction Notice: Arrive two hours early before your departing flight and allow extra time to navigate NDOT road and highway construction and airport construction.

- Loop Road Construction began 7/25: The project will reduce sidewalk access leading from baggage claim to the parking garage and/or passenger pick-up. Follow signage.

- Ticketing Hall Construction changes 7/25: There will be no second floor skybridge access during this phase of construction (we’re installing new flooring). Passengers should use the stairs and elevator located in the parking garage, and the ground floor crosswalk to get to and from the terminal building.

- NDOT construction updates 7/27: Expect congestion and delays at E Plumb Lane and Terminal Way with limited access entering and exiting the airport loop road. E Plumb Lane will be reduced to one (1) lane from Thursday, July 27 at 7pm, through Friday, July 28 at 5am. Passengers departing early Friday morning should use caution and arrive early.
