We have a new & upgraded LED sign courtesy of our District Facilities! It was installed over spring break. Once we get up and running this week, we will get this updated with upcoming information.

Welcome Back!


With Spring Break behind us, I hope students had a fun, relaxing and restful week off from school. With less than 30 days of school left, let's finish strong. We have AP testing, state testing, award ceremonies and final exams all within this time frame. We look forward to seeing our students on Monday! Go Jags!

Progress Reports


This Wednesday, April 17th, progress reports will be available to view on Infinite Campus. Be sure to ask your child to see the progress they are making. This progress report is for the first 3-weeks of our 4th quarter grading period.

Cooper NOW


Cooper NOW is a monthly video produced by our students. Our students work hard to produce a quality product with the supervision of business teacher, Ms. Jeri Giska.

STLP & Cooper NOW Awards


Congrats to the Cooper NOW, STLP Cinemania team on their State Runner Up trophy. Pictured L to R: Grace Chaney, McKayla Harsley, Caroline Kemper and Makenna Depue. Cinemania is a statewide competition where students have 72 hours to write, film and edit a 3 minute video that contains a list of pre-determined characters and prompts. College Athlete Recognition


We will be holding our 2024 Senior Athlete Signing Recognition on Tuesday May 14th in the Auditorium at 3:00pm


Coach Borchers will need a list of all senior athletes who have already signed or will sign to play collegiate athletics no later than Monday April 22nd


Please email Coach Borchers (randy.borchers@boone.kyschools.us) or the Head Coach and let us know if your son/daughter will be playing athletics at the collegiate level as well as the sport and school they will be playing at.

Class of 2024 Graduation Yard Signs


Complete this GOOGLE FORM to reserve your signs.

Send in the $20 per sign payment (cash or check) to the RCHS Front Office by April 26th, 2024. 


The deadline to reserve and pay for yard signs will be April 26th, 2024. Pick-up dates for the Yard Signs are TBD. Signs will not be eligible for pick-up until your order is paid in full. Any purchased signs not picked up by May 24th will become the property of RCHS, and ineligible for refund.

Undergrad Awards Night

Grades 9-11 - Invitation Only

Tuesday, May 14th in the main gym

  • Freshmen: 5:30 p.m.
  • Sophomores: 6:30 p.m.
  • Juniors: 7:30 p.m. 


Senior Honors Night 

All seniors are invited and encouraged to attend.

Monday, May 20th in the main gym, 6:00 p.m. 

Students should plan to arrive no later than 5:45 pm to gather for the procession in.


Any club/activity award will be presented at the ceremony by the sponsor.  

Immunizations 


Parents/guardians please make sure to present an updated immunization certificate to the school. Keep in mind that your student must have a second meningitis on or after their 16th birthday, and 2 Hep A's spaced 6 months apart. Check for a correct expiration date. It is still a state requirement to have an updated certificate. In order to avoid exclusion immunization certificates need to be turned in by April 15th.

Student Leadership Council (SLC) Application 2024-2025


SLC applications are available for next year’s student council. They are outside Sra. Giska’s class room 202 lower A. Applications are due Wednesday, April 17.

Teacher Appreciation Donations Needed


Student Leadership Council needs your help in gathering items to celebrate our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week May 6-10. Using the link below provides details of the items we need. ANY little bit will help with our week long Travel Adventure themed tribute.

Gateway Job Training Program


Explore careers in Transportation Construction and receive job training for successful entry into the field at Gateway. Through partnership with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and the University of Kentucky Transportation Technology Transfer Center, this program is available at no cost for participants from a historically disadvantaged background.


Participants will earn industry certifications and be eligible for sponsorship by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to complete the CDL program and obtain a CDL license. Gateway's CDL program is 160 hours in length with classes starting every month.  


All classes will be held at Gateway Community and Technical College’s Transportation Technology Center at 1051 Dudley Road, Fort Wright, KY 41017.
