After spending six straight days at the Walworth County Fair, I have a renewed appreciation for everyone who says, "YES", to this annual event. The fair doesn't happen because of one person. The fair is successful because multitudes of people agree to participate!
These are all the people [that I can think of] to thank for an amazing 174th Walworth County Fair!

I'm sure I've missed someone...but that is a very long list of hundreds of people [men, women and children] who made the choice to take part in the Walworth County Fair! As I drove out of the gate Monday night, I was overwhelmed with how amazing this event is!
While some might look at the fair with consumerism spectacles, I will only be able to see it as community in action. The dedication required to plan this event and the commitment put forth by those who raise animals or till gardens or grow flower beds or bake pies or sew pillows or paint pictures or rebuild engines or wood work or dream about being 'Fairest of the Fair'...all those people and all that work seems worth a $12 ticket to me!
I'm so proud of our community and our county for showcasing the amazing people and things that happen here in Walworth County! Grab a pen and mark your calendar for next year's 175th Walworth County Fair, August 28th - September 2nd, 2024!
You now have an entire year to think about saying, "YES", to the fair!
