WEEKEND STREET AND LANE CLOSURES, PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WHEN TRAVELING DOWNTOWN:

  • LANE AND SIDEWALK CLOSED: Starting Tuesday, March 10, 6:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. southbound Church Avenue between Alameda Street to the crosswalk in front of the Historic Pima County Courthouse will be reduced to one travel lane (right lane closed). The sidewalk between the same area will be closed to pedestrians. The lane and sidewalk closures may occur on select Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. through April 30.
  • Construction Zone: South Stone Avenue between Corral Street and Ochoa Street has construction on the east side of the street (northbound travel lane) due to construction at the Hilton Hotel at Cathedral Square project (141 S. Stone Avenue). Use Caution while traveling north or southbound down Stone.
  • Construction Zone: Church Avenue between Broadway Blvd to Ochoa Street has construction on the west side of the street. Use Caution while traveling north or southbound down Church.
  • Construction Zone: The far right travel lane of Stone Avenue between Pennington Street and Broadway Blvd is closed for construction. Use Caution while traveling north or southbound down Stone.

Other Roadway Projects to be aware of:
  • Broadway Boulevard – Euclid Ave to Country Club Expansion: β€œOn Sunday, January 26, 2020, at about 9 a.m., work will begin on the Broadway – Euclid Avenue to Country Club Road Improvement Project. While the limits of the project are Euclid Avenue to Country Club Road, during the first phase of the project, work will take place between Euclid Avenue and Campbell Avenue. Crews will begin the project by closing the south side of Broadway from Euclid Avenue to Campbell Avenue. This project, is expected to be complete in September 2021.” Click here for the full City of Tucson Press Release.

  • Downtown Links Phase IIIβ€œDowntown Links Constructors (DLC), under contract with the City of Tucson Transportation Department, continue pre-construction field activities as they prepare for roadway construction. The traveling public will see equipment, work crews and Short-term traffic control during this investigative phase of work which includes; surface, subsurface, geotechnical, environmental and survey verifications. The traveling public should anticipate the [latest] traffic closures.”

When attending events at the TCC and around the city, please park in designated lots, garages, or at metered spaces ONLY. Please do NOT park on neighborhood streets.  Parking restrictions will be enforced.
