Staff News

Farewell, Olivia!

Olivia Shepherd and her husband, Thomas, will be leaving Augusta in July and moving to Rome, GA. Thomas has completed his residency at The Dental School of Georgia and is joining a dental practice as an associate in Rome. Olivia has served in Student Ministry since October 2022 as our Associate and Interim Student Ministry Director. She served during a vital time of transition at Trinity on the Hill and we're grateful for her leadership, discipleship and passion for leading our students to know Christ and make Christ known.

Olivia's last day at Trinity was June 13th but she will be recognized at worship on June 23rd for her service at Trinity on the Hill. We wish Olivia and Thomas the best of luck in their new endeavors!

Welcome, Anslie & Jane!

We have two Summer Ministry Assistants serving on our staff this summer, Anslie Thorp (left) and Jane Cearley (right).

Anslie Thorp is our Marketing Summer Ministry Assistant and will be working with Lauren Benson, Our Connections/ Marketing Director. Anslie is a sophomore at Anderson University where she double majors in dance and English literature. She has attended Trinity for the past year and a half and has been a member of the church community since she was born. She is excited to work with the TOTH staff to help bring non-believers to Christ and help deepen the faith of those who are already a part of the Lord's family.

Jane Cearley is our Children's Summer Ministry Assistant and will be working with Lillian Howard, our Children's Director. Jane recently graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and has moved back to Augusta. She looks forward to working with the Children's Ministry team to help further children's knowledge of Christ. She is excited to be here and help serve her church and community through children's ministry.

Serve in the Nursery!

We have babies, toddlers and preschoolers that need the love and grace of Jesus poured into them. Rocking babies, playing blocks and sharing smiles is a huge part of what we do with our little ones. You can serve at 8:30, 9:45 or 11:00am Sunday mornings to help raise up the next generation of worshippers and leaders at Trinity on the Hill. Contact Leanna Dyches if you can serve!

Serve with our Tech Team!

We have tech opportunities including sound and media (ProPresenter) for our traditional services. No experience is necessary; training is provided! Help execute a seamless service by ensuring our congregation can see lyrics and responses on the screen and that they can hear the service without feedback or distraction. Our Tech volunteers work behind the scenes to deliver authentic and powerful worship at every service! Contact Kevin Pollock if you can serve!

Serve at our Modern Worship Service!

We have tech opportunities including sound, media (ProPresenter), lighting and livestream volunteers. No experience is necessary; training is provided! We also have a praise band!
