Custom Heroes
(2-6 Players/45 mins.)
Custom Heroes is a card-crafting, climbing trick game in which plastic cards are added to sleeves in order to modify the cards already in those sleeves.
Please note: Custom Heroes is shipped with a protective plastic film on each card which should be removed prior to play. Once removed the colors will be more vibrant and it will be easier to see cards in a stack inside a sleeve.
The players attempt to win rounds by getting rid of their cards as quickly as possible using the classic climbing trick mechanic. e.g. If a player leads with three 4s then the next player must play three of a kind of equal or higher value. When all players pass, the last player to have played cards leads a new trick with whatever card or set of equal cards they want. Go out of cards first for first place, second for second, etc.
However, you also have advancements you can sleeve onto your cards. These may increase or decrease the value of the cards, or even add new abilities such as turning a card into a wild or reversing the direction of the values (i.e. you are now playing lower numbers instead of higher) or making cards count as multiple copies of themselves, etc.
But since all of the cards are reshuffled and dealt to start a new round, the changes you made may end up with someone else (and vice versa), and the common distribution of values will begin to change and shift over multiple hands. Thus, a good strategy must factor in not just doing well in the current hand, but also managing your resources (card advancements) over multiple hands and maximizing their impact though well timed plays.
You earn points and more advancements based on your end of round position. Be the first player to go out each round and gain the most points, but draw fewer new advancements for the next hand. To win a player must first get to 10 points, and then win a hand.

Codenames Duet keeps the basic elements of Codenames - give one-word clues to try to get someone to identify your agents among those on the table - but now you're working together as a team to find all of your agents. (Why you don't already know who your agents are is a question that Congressional investigators will get on your back about later!)
To set up play, lay out 25 word cards in a 5×5 grid. Place a key card in the holder so that each player sees one side of the card. Each player sees a 5×5 grid on the card, with nine of the squares colored green (representing your agents) and three squares colored black (representing assassins). Three of the nine squares on each side are also green on the other side, one assassin is black on both sides, one is green on the other side and the other is an innocent bystander on the other side.
Collectively, you need to reveal all fifteen agents - without revealing an assassin - before time runs out in order to win the game. Either player can decide to give the first one-word clue to the other player, along with a number. Whoever receives the clue places a finger on a card to identify that agent. If correct, they can attempt to identify another one. If they identify a bystander, then their guessing time ends. If they identify an assassin, you both lose! Unlike regular Codenames, they can keep guessing as long as they keep identifying an agent each time; this is useful for going back to previous clues and finding ones they missed earlier. After the first clue is given, players alternate giving clues.

In
Seikatsu
, players take turns placing tiles into a shared garden area, with each tile showing a colored flower and colored bird. Players score for groups of birds as they place them, but they score for rows of flowers only at the end of the game and only for the rows of flowers that exist from their perspective, i.e., that are viewable as lines from where they sit at the game board.

The talk of the streets and taverns has all been about the so-called death curse: a wasting disease afflicting everyone whos ever been raised from the dead. Victims grow thinner and weaker each day, slowly but steadily sliding toward the death they once denied. When they finally succumb, they cant be raisedand neither can anyone else, regardless of whether theyve ever received that miracle in the past. Temples and scholars of divine magic point to the curse originating somewhere in Chult, a mysterious peninsula far to the south, ringed with mountains and choked with rain forests. Adventurers tasked with stopping the curse must travel to settlements such as Port Nyanzaru to secure guides to lead them into the dense jungle. At the end of the journey, a horrifying villain awaits with a familiar visage. Will your players survive?

Batman Vol 3 - I Am Bane - $16.99
Superstar artist David Finch (WONDER WOMAN) completes his run on the Dark Knight in BATMAN VOL. 3: I AM BANE, the stunning new chapter in writer Tom King's (THE SHERIFF OF BABYLON) wildly acclaimed Batman saga.
He is not a joke. He is not a riddle. He is not a bird or a cat or a penguin, not a scarecrow or a plant or a puppet. He is not a fairy tale or a circus act, a broken friend or a regretful mentor. He is no rich boy pretending to be a knight.
He is Bane. The Batman invaded his home, scarred his mind and broke his back. Now Bane has returned to Gotham City for a single purpose: break the Batman once and for all. But first, he'll destroy everyone the Dark Knight has ever loved...or loathed.
The young heroes who've worn the mantle of Robin. The cops, crime-fighters and vigilantes who make up Batman's army of allies. Even the madmen and monsters that haunt the halls of Arkham Asylum. Batman will need all of their help-and more-to fend off this unstoppable challenger.
Because both Bane and Batman know one thing: only one of them will walk away from their final confrontation unbroken...

Aquaman Vol 3 - Crown of Atlantis - $16.99
Writer Dan Abnett (TITANS, EARTH 2: SOCIETY) and artists Scot Eaton (BATMAN & ROBIN ETERNAL), Philippe Briones (NEW SUICIDE SQUAD) and Brad Walker (ACTION COMICS) test Aquaman on all sides as DC's Rebirth continues in AQUAMAN VOL. 3: CROWN OF ATLANTIS!
A devastating war between the United States and Atlantis has been averted, all thanks to Aquaman. And for his part in bringing peace, the King of Atlantis has found the respect and recognition that always eluded him...along with a new group of hardcore "Aquafans" he never expected.
But with a higher profile comes a target on Aquaman's back. There's Warhead, a cyborg with the ability to mentally control humans and use them as weapons. Then there's Dead Water, a monstrous villain Aquaman thought he'd defeated, and whose mysterious origins he still doesn't fully understand. To beat them, the King of the Seven Seas will be forced to make alliances with the same Aquamarines who tried to assassinate him-alliances that may prove just as deadly as any enemy.
With these ceaseless threats from above and below, political unrest is rising among the citizens of Atlantis. Even if Aquaman succeeds in keeping his kingdom safe, will he be able to hold on to his throne?
