Updating NHS Scotland Vouchers

We can confirm that a patch is ready and will be released before June 1st.

A prompt will appear, on June 1st, with an option to update the vouchers to the new values and a linked sales item for the NHS test.

The patch will be released as an HPP (High Priority Patch) and will download automatically.

If you have any questions please get in touch with the support team.

Hoya Treatments Issue

We were notified, this week, about an issue with the treatments on Hoya lenses.

We investigated with Hoya's IT department and found the data being provided to us was using the wrong format - this was corrected and updated. The latest catalogue is now correct and can be downloaded.

LATEST from PCSE

Received 25/05/23 16:42

We have had multiple communications, this week, from PCSE England regarding the ongoing issues with PCSE Online & eGOS

"PCSE customers are still experiencing performance issues with PCSE Online and eGOS. The PCSE IT team has been working with Microsoft and both parties have identified what they believe is the root cause of the issues."

As always, FLEX users can still create and store claims in FLEX and then submit them once the maintenance has been completed and claims are once again being accepted.

The full communication can be read by clicking the button below

If you are having issues with any claims, contact the team who will be happy to help.

The following knowledgebase links have been hand-picked in response to support calls we received this week:

Clinical Assessment - Dictionary Phrases

Dictionary text/phrases can be set up in FLEX to quickly enter results in clinical assessments - they are an efficient way of using standardised results for all Optometrists within an organisation.

Did you know that you can make a dictionary phrase dynamic? Simply position two asterisks ('**') within a phrase at the point you would like to insert text and when the phrase is selected the user will be prompted to enter the new text to replace the asterisks.

Editing Dictionary Phrases

Inserting current Date & Time: Adding the following dictionary items will insert the current date or time when selected on the clinical record assessment screen.

Building the Diary

The article below explains how you can change aspects of your diary and how to build your diary ahead to accept bookings - there is also a useful video tutorial.
