Updating NHS Fees


From April 2022 the GOS Sight Test Fee in England will increase by 2% to £22.14, voucher values will also increase by 2% from April.

After an un-planned hiatus, this years event moves to a new venue at the 'Staverton Park Estate' near Daventry.

Alternate Patient Address


It is sometimes useful to be able to add an alternate address for a patient, perhaps they have a second home for 6 months of the year or will be away studying for a term - in these cases add a second address for the patient. The patient address merge fields will reflect the changes dependent on the time of the year.


To add an alternate address:

  • Find the patient record
  • Click the 'Update' button
  • Click 'Other Actions > Alternate Address > Add Alternate Address'
  • Enter the new address in the pop-up window (you can use postcode lookup)
  • Set the number of years the address will be active
  • Set the months of the year the address will be active

We have had a number of cases recently where claims are being deleted from FLEX, for various reasons, which could have been avoided if a quick call had been made to the support team for advice.


Whether a claim has been rejected or appears to be duplicated, reach out to the support team and check whether we can fix the issue for you before deleting a claim and starting it again.

  • HPP indicates high priority patches that are downloaded and installed automatically
  • MTS indicates patches that have been deployed to the 'Hosted FLEX' servers
  • REQ indicates a patch that will be loaded on request or when an issue is highlighted
