Discount Setup

Discounts can be applied during a dispense or at the point of sale in the till screen.

FLEX allows you to create pre-set discounts that speed up the process of discounting goods when you are with a patient.

So, if you are planning a promotion, create a discount code with the amount pre-set (it can be either a percentage or a physical amount £) and a description that will appear on the receipt and in the discount report in business intelligence.

When creating discount codes, setting the amount or percentage to zero will force a prompt allowing the user to enter the discount amount at the point of sale.

Set A Default Lens Supplier

With so many lens suppliers to choose from it is likely that you have downloaded multiple supplier catalogues to pick from during a dispense. Did you know that you can set a default supplier catalogue that will be pre-loaded when you open the lens selector.

• Go to Menu -> Setup -> Orders -> Dispense
• Default Supplier Dropdown
• Choose your default supplier form the available list
• Selecting 'None' will result in all lenses being pre-loaded (this can cause the lens selector to take longer to open)
• Use the 'X' to reset the default lens supplier 

A new audit report has been added that produces a complete clinical history printout, including:

• Patient information
• Medication
• Clinical assessment
• Refractions
• IOPS's
• Clinical sketches
• Recommendations
• Px advice / dispense advice / referral advice

Multiple examination records can be included in the printout.
