Autumn Release

The next release of FLEX is almost ready, we will be contacting our early access users next week with the scheduled release date.


A general release will follow in late November so be sure to familiarise yourself with the upcoming changes by reading the release notes.

Integrated Payment Processing Now Available

We are pleased to announce that FLEX has been certified for use with the Windcave Move5000 HIT integrated payment solution.


Why did we choose to partner with Windcave?

Windcave is an end-to-end payment provider and offers highly competitive rates in all aspects in the payment cycle. They are also a leading edge on technological development and have an in-house team designing and producing their own payment terminals. As a bonus, they have a 24/7 support team, a dedicated Account Manager for each one of their customers, as well as Point-to-point encryption (P2PE) which is the highest level of PCI standards relating to processing and storing card data


What are integrated payments?

An integrated payment solution means FLEX can directly send the purchase amount to your payment device. This means you no longer need to manually enter an amount on your terminal or update the FLEX receipt as this is automated.

Meet the Team - Sam Heath

Software Trainer

This week, it's the turn of our trainer 'Samantha Heath' to tell us about herself....


I have been with Optinet since July this year as Software Trainer. I deliver training in house as well as on customer sites around the country.  My background is in both teaching and software support within various industries which included the arduous task of teaching police officers.

I have various teaching qualifications the most recent being a post graduate qualification in teaching, which I achieved at Teesside University in 2009.


Outside of work, I have been known to make the odd gin and tonic, love meeting with friends, especially when there is a spa day involved. I also like travelling to new places, especially abroad, whenever possible. 


Interesting Fact(s) – I love fast cars and want to take my motorbike test.
